St. Patrick’s Day Sight Word Game
This is a St. Patick’s Day version of the BANG! game! This literacy center includes 220 sight word cards plus GOLD! and TRICKY LEPRECHAUN! cards. Use them as a warm up activity for small groups or large group activity time. Your kids will beg you to play this activity again and again!
How to Play
To prepare this activity simply print, laminate and cut. Place some of the sight word cards in a seasonal container. There are 11 sets of words. Choose the set that meets the needs of your students. Also, place several of the GOLD! and TRICKY LEPRECHAUN! cards in the container. Students take turns picking a card and reading the word. If the word is read correctly, they keep the card. If not, the card goes back in the container. If a BANG! card is pulled put all of the cards back in the container!
