It’s hard to believe that Valentine’s Day is coming up! This “Count the Room” activity is always a favorite center in my classroom! It gets the kids up and moving around the room – a perfect way to combine learning and fun! Here is my Valentine’s Day Count the Room.
How to Play
Preparation for the center is quick and easy! Simply print, laminate and cut the cards. Hang the cards around the classroom. Photocopy the recording sheet. The students will clip the recording sheet to their clipboard and walk around the room and search for the cards. When they find the cards they will count the objects and write the amount on the recording sheet.
