This Valentine’s Day math center provides an engaging way for your students to practice AB, ABB, AAB and ABC patterns.
This learning center includes 24 pattern cards and 7 recording sheets. You can use the hearts provided for copying the patterns or add real Conversation Hearts or plastic/foam hearts to make the patterns!
How to Play
Preparation for this game is quick and easy! All you need to do is print the cards on cardstock, laminate and cut. Store the hearts in a cute seasonal storage container.
To use this activity, students will choose a pattern card and then use the hearts to copy the pattern. You can have one type of pattern at a time or mix it up by placing all of the types of patterns out. This set includes AB, ABB, AAB and ABC patterns.
The students can also use the recording sheets to color the patterns they created.
